Archiving and Long-Term Preservation Policy

Archiving and Long-Term Preservation Policy

1) Archiving

The editorial board of the scientific journal "Ukrainian Cultural Studies" strives to ensure long-term access to all published materials and takes all necessary technical measures to ensure backup copying and open access to the journal's content.

Locations of preservation

Each issue of the journal is published in print and electronic form. The electronic version must be made freely available on the journal's website and deposited in the institutional repository of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv eKNUTSHIR, which is integrated with the National Repository of Academic Texts.

Electronic copies of all issues of the journal are also transferred for preservation to the Scientific Periodicals of Ukraine platform of the National Library of Ukraine named after V.I. Vernadskyi of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

Archiving frequency

The content of our journal is archived after each issue is published, ensuring the continuous and timely preservation of our scientific works.

Licences and permissions

All archived content retains its original licence terms. This ensures that readers and researchers can use the material under the same conditions as when it was first published.

Archiving policy updates

Our archiving policy is reviewed every two years to ensure it complies with best practices in scientific publishing and content preservation. Any updates or changes will be announced on the journal's official website.

2) Self-Archiving

Preprint

The author may deposit a preprint (a version of the publication that has not passed peer review) in any repository, provided that the publisher and journal are cited in the following format: "This is a preprint of material submitted for publication in the journal "Bulletin of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Literary Studies. Linguistics. Folklore Studies", published by Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv".

Postprint

The author may deposit a postprint (the final version of the article in the form of a PDF file created by the publisher) in any thematic national or international repository, indicating the publisher, journal title and DOI of the article.
